The official game page explains the setting, platforms, classes, weapons and broad gameplay. Wikipedia provides a compact overview, while the wider WW1 Game Series community wiki covers the franchise context. These are good orientation points, but they do not yet form a complete player-first reference for Gallipoli.
Where this wiki should be stronger
A useful dedicated wiki should answer questions in the order players encounter them: what do I do in a match, which class fits my squad, how does Expedition advance, what does this weapon feel like, and where can I play? Each page should have a clear answer before it adds background detail.
The database to build after launch
Once players can verify the live game, this site can add map callouts, class slots, weapons, objectives, controls, bot settings, patch notes and performance guides. Until then, the site should be deep on structure and honest about the exact data that does not exist yet.
