Gameplay & Expedition

Gallipoli combines fast, lethal firefights with a slower objective rhythm: reach a sector, create a foothold, secure it, and keep enough momentum to continue the attack.

THE BRIEFING

The match is a chain of problems

The official game description frames Gallipoli as objective-based PvP across coastal, desert and urban battlefields. Players are not simply searching for a better angle; they are trying to move a line through defended territory while the other team delays, resets and counterattacks.

How Expedition changes the usual capture loop

Preview coverage describes sectors with multiple objectives. Attackers may need to take the main HQ objective to advance, while a secondary objective can improve the forward position or remove a defensive advantage. Capturing is not always the end of the action: the position must also be secured, which creates another vulnerable window for both teams.

  • Arrive with enough players to establish control.
  • Take the objective that improves the next phase, not only the easiest one.
  • Protect the secure phase instead of sprinting toward the next marker.

Why the gunplay feels different

Most soldiers are expected to work with bolt-action or slow-firing weapons. The result is a short time-to-kill but a deliberate combat rhythm: cover, aim, reload timing and suppression matter as much as raw reaction speed.

What makes a good push

A strong attack combines a route, a role mix and a fallback. Smoke, dust and terrain can create a temporary crossing, but the squad still needs someone to hold the angle, someone to revive or support the push, and someone to read the next objective.

What is Expedition Mode?

Expedition is the main attack-and-defend flow: attackers move through sectors, capture objectives, secure the position and keep enough momentum to continue. Defenders slow the advance, reset pressure and protect the next line.
